292: Take Courage
Be Courageous , Often that’s all it takes
MrBeast uploaded 455 videos before going viral. Picasso created 20,000 pieces of art before the world recognized his genius. Walt Disney turned 300 rejections into the most magical brand on Earth. Gary Vee posted 1,000 wine videos before anyone noticed him. Colonel Sanders pitched KFC 1,009 times before finding success. JK Rowling faced 12 rejections before Harry Potter became a global phenomenon. Oprah was fired as a news anchor and is now worth $2.8 billion. The Beatles were rejected by 4 labels before revolutionizing music.
Melanie Perkins was rejected over 100 times by investors before Canva secured funding and became one of the leading design tools of the century. The list goes on, but these individuals are just a small sample of ordinary people who achieved extraordinary things simply by staying persistent and courageous.
Do what’s right, do what needs to be done, and keep going. If you’re too afraid of losing your comfortable lifestyle, nothing will get done, and you’ll eventually lose that life of convenience in a more frustrating way. Or worse, you’ll watch others achieve your dreams while you tell yourself stories about how you could’ve done more.
Take courage. Go out there and make it happen. That’s how it’s done.
It’s better to make mistakes than to stand still.
