A surface dive into product dev.
Product development entails much more than simply creating a good product; it also entails making quality decisions about who will use the product.
You can build something that you think is great but does not resonate with your potential user community; in that case, the fault is yours for failing to research the needs of your user community.
Other times, you build a great feature and your user community just accepts it without question; it’s a beautiful thing that can’t be fully explained why your user community accepted the product without questioning your decision. In that case, you literally knew what they didn’t know they needed. It’s more of an excellent product insight.
I should also mention that product development entails pouring your heart and soul into creating those wonderful things.
