The concept of no-one is in charge but everyone is, will be the emblem of Generation Z and the future will be epitomized by its effects.

The internet’s arrival in 1983 ushered in a new era of decentralized economics. Since its inception in 1989, Sir Tim Berners-Lee (a British scientist) has been propagating it through the World Wide Web (WWW).

There is a widespread notion that everyone has access to the internet since no one owns it.

The decentralized economy is a major force behind the rapid growth seen in recent years.

At $120 Billion, Uber has a 68 percent market share in the transportation technology business. However, the company does not own a fleet of vehicles for transportation!

At 132 billion dollars, Airbnb is one of the largest travel and tourism companies in the world, with a 20 percent share of the holiday rental market. The company’s revenue is estimated to be in the neighborhood of $20 billion. Despite this, they do not own a single housing unit.

As a result of Amazon’s decentralized organizational structure, the business has been able to produce retail e-commerce sales of over 346 billion U.S. dollars yearly.

A decentralized future is what these instances all point to!

I plan to write more about decentralized economies in the future. Keep an eye out for it! If you’ve learned anything new from this post, please share your thoughts in the comments section. I’d like to learn from you as well, and I look forward to it.
