Hey there!
Tah, I’ve been Thinking and Making Money
My goal has always been simple: you’re born into little or no wealth, and you work your way up to have much. Why? Because there are countless people without any privileges who need help — think of the countless innocent children who simply deserve better. But how can you help when even your resources barely cover your own needs, let alone wants?
We all know the difference between needs and wants, right? Well, I’ve committed to this goal of being able to help as many people as my heart goes out to. I can’t stand hearing stories that require action on my part only to be left making hollow comments. I want to act and, like magic, turn things around swiftly. And yet, the most powerful enabler in the world is money.
Money is a maddening thing. Just when you think you’ve secured it, it slips away. It’s wild! I also hate giving excuses, especially the kind people use as stand-ins for experience. Excuses are what people rely on when they haven’t even tried. People say Nigeria can’t work, though they’ve never tested a single hypothesis on why it could. They doubt they’ll succeed here without ever giving their best effort.
What bothers me about this wave of “give up and leave” stories is — who are you leaving the problems for? Your children, and their children? Do you think you’re the first to try and outrun your issues? The world is divided by privilege and identity, and privilege aligns with both. As a Black person, you’re unlikely to get the same opportunities in another land unless you bring undeniable intelligence or skill. This isn’t about hate; they’re simply protecting what their ancestors worked hard to build for their own communities, while ours look to escape instead of building at home.
So, I don’t claim to have all the answers, other than knowing I need to create more wealth. Maybe when I reach that point, I’ll see things more clearly. Because if there’s any way to influence culture, it’s to gain wealth and buy it up.
I’ve also been studying the universe, life, and the cosmos. As much as science says there’s no Creator, I can’t shake the sense that all this didn’t come from nowhere. I’m working to understand the scientific perspective better, but the Big Bang theory doesn’t fully connect for me. The idea of randomness creating patterns makes some sense, but only to a point.
Just know that I’m seeking understanding in everything. I want to see clearly — for myself and for others.
Notes :
- People travel out for many reasons. But I am only dealing with those needing to run per se.
- Science, religion, and the path forward for humanity are things everyone must try and understand.
- No one is truly poor because they are in Nigeria; it’s not that bad. Often, we’re poor because we lack unique value.
