Last Letter of the Year 2024
Without this Wisdom, Everyone Struggles
Have a clear vision of what you’d like to become and start working your way up, year by year, activity by activity, and plan by plan until you achieve it. Be intentional — nobody becomes great by mistake. Even those who seemed to rise suddenly had a plan.
Do the heavy lifting now! Go broke learning and building the right things today! That way, you’ll secure a better tomorrow for yourself and those who come after you.
Have a dedicated 12-month plan. Visualize what the year should look like to define progress for you. Plan for what you can foresee and think through. Leave the magic and miracles to time and chance. You focus on your own effort first. If you ask anyone for help next year without a clear plan and paper detailing your goals, you’re already doomed. Someone like me won’t give you an audience, especially if you knew beforehand these details.
So, sit down now, plan, and then pray so you’re strengthened and helped enough to accomplish them.
Going to a new country in 2025 shouldn’t be your priority unless you’ve secured a thriving business or a high-paying job. Build stability first — excel where you are, and then expand your horizons. Don’t move just to scrape by or beg around; it diminishes your potential. Lay the foundation before building the home. Life is tough, but understanding how it works is the first step to succeeding. Why do we always try to do the last things first? Don’t you see that, in the end, having a successful business or a secure, high-paying job takes precedence? Prioritize what matters most.
Use Google Sheets — if you’re not writing things down, people won’t take you seriously. So, set yourself straight: write what you’ll do Month on Month (MoM) and paint the picture of your life. When you succeed, people will read all these documents. You will have created a blueprint for others to follow.
The world is a simulation; anyone can create what they want to become with time. What will make you stand out is consistency over time. People will give up, but you won’t. Later, they will be curious and excited to learn from you, the one who didn’t give up. Even ordinary consistency will make you win, and growth will put you at the top. Take note of the power of leverage and compounding to become great over the next 20 to 40 years.
Everyone should set goals in these key areas:
- Personal Income & Investment
Build financial security and create opportunities for growth through smart investments.
Question: What skills do I have to earn more? What business opportunity is worth building and investing in? - Legacy
Strive to leave an enduring impact by empowering others and contributing to meaningful causes.
Question: In what major way can I help at least 1 million people, contributing my quota to humanity? - Exposure through Knowledge & Travel
Expand your horizons by improving your knowledge base and exploring new places, cultures, and ideas.
Question: How can I know and learn more? More books? More travels? - Health & Wellbeing
Prioritize physical and mental health to sustain productivity and enjoy the fruits of your efforts.
Question: What can I do better? More protein? Exercise? Healthy sleep?
Now, use these questions to set a 12-month plan for next year. Then attach a goal that shows progress.
These pillars form the foundation for a balanced, impactful, and fulfilling life.
Send this to as many young people as you know. Let more people know that enough is enough — young people in Africa need to stop blaming others more than themselves. It’s time to take responsibility, do the small things right, and even build the bigger things. Nothing is impossible.
