Resources are different from Resourcefulness

I figured some cities and countries have enough resources to sustain more cities and settlements than they can ever imagine.

For a very good example, a place like Lagos has more processed resources that other states require to maximize living but the resources are in the storage houses of Lagos. No one is using them and they are rotting there.

But here is the beautiful thing, no one and nobody is stopping people from utilizing or transporting these resources to where they are needed, just that you’d have to be the one in charge of all the required hassles. And that’s where the number of people who can do such reduce drastically.

Nigeria overall has resources, of people, materials,s and of technology but we greatly lack resourcefulness. And resourcefulness is maximizing resources for a useful purpose or agenda.

Wherever resources are found the people there are bound to exhibit a behavior of carelessness especially when they do not have the mind of caring for the needy.

The need to cater to others puts us at the forefront of leadership, not because we want to be there but because we can provide for others. There is a lot to put together when it comes to all of these.

Unless Resources and opportunities are maximized, suffering is eminent no matter the grandeur of such resources.
