One of the greatest secrets of staying inspired is to learn to always return to base. It’s at the base that you can find all the resources, inspiration, and reasons to get back to the field, every military man knows this rule.

Here is what the base does for you; it reminds you and puts clearly to your remembrance why you set out to a field in the first place. One of the most popular ways of mastering anything is ‘repetition’, repeating the very basic things to yourself again and again until it sticks effortlessly with you.

You never want to lose the fire?! Then return to whatever inspired you to start in the first place.

A bi-the-way reasoning:
It’s not in every case that we have to forget home. It’s of great privilege to know and understand that home is subject to your authority and success in the field. And home can be your most powerful tool. A popular Yoruba adage translated to English has it that, “the mightiest of all warriors is the one that knows how to fight and also how to retreat” in my beautiful Yoruba dialect “Moja mosa, la’n mo aki-kanju loju ogun”.
